Old videogames and new videogames

Videogames were born in 1958, ideated by Thomas T. Goldsmith Jr. i en Estle Ray Mann, and the first videogame ever made was the mythic Pong, developed by William Higinbotham.

Those old games were known as ''Arcade Games'' because in that times there were  amusement arcade places, and that was beautiful:

Since then, there have been a lot of improvement in the thechnology, and now a videogame can be almost like a interactive movie.

We started playing a game where there was just a ball bouncing in a big square:

 And now you're able to see this on your screen:

As you can see, the difference is abysmal.

Nowadays, we've got even Virtual Reality:

In fact, Virtual Reality (VR) was born like 5 years ago, and maybe that's the future of the industry, i personally think that what we do have is not good enough.

Videogames are my hobby, and i love them, so im very happy and proud about the industry, I grew up playing and im sure i will still play until im a grandpa.

Computers Today

Computers today are a very useful tool, we use them for almost every thing.

They are used in factorys, engineering works, graphic designs.. etc.

Every important job has a computer involved, and they're every day more advanced.

This is MARK I, one of the first protocomputers, it was larger than a class room.

And this is one of the latests computers, an OMEN.

The difference between those two it's just 77 years, and the last one it's milions of times more powerful.

In fact, a normal calculator like this on the left, it's like 6 times more powerful than the computer that led the man to the moon.

My life as student

My life as a student

I go to school everyday in the morning by bus at 8:00 AM.
It's a big school, but i can't describe it very well because i haven't explored it yet.
We do all our subjects in a single class.
Anyway, I can see that it has 2 or 3 buildings.
It offers Office Software, english, maths... All the normal subjects of a secondary school, but also we can study IT here, and a ''Sociosanitari''.
I usually have my lunch in the canteen or outside with people.
During the break I walk or I listen to people talking.
After classes, I go to an internet café and i play online with some people.

My mother works in a farm, and my father is a builder.

Im not working right now, im studying.
